About
I have spent five years on software that talks to hardware in the field: charge points, barriers, occupancy sensors, payment terminals. That work sets the standard I hold everything to. A dashboard is only as good as the state it reports, and the state has to be right.
Day to day I lead a team at Devways in Dubai, working across Django on the backend and React and React Native on the front. Outside of it I ship my own products end to end, which is where I get to make every architectural call myself and live with the consequences.

A personal expense ledger that has no server. Everything lives on the device; backups are encrypted on the phone and pushed to a private folder in the owner's Google Drive.

What I work in
I am most useful on the seam between them, where a device reports something, a server has to believe it, and three different clients have to show it.
Backend
Where the state lives. Django from the schema up: API design, background work, and the real-time layer that pushes device state to everything else.
Frontend
Operator consoles and dashboards, mostly. Dense interfaces that have to stay readable while values change underneath them.
Mobile
Cross-platform apps for the people at the other end of the hardware: drivers, cardholders, and my own products' users.
