The problem
Memberships were administrative work spread across records that did not agree with each other. A cardholder whose renewal had not propagated turned up at a barrier that would not lift.
How it was built
The contract is the record
Cardholders, contracts and their lifecycle — registration, renewal, cancellation — are managed against a single record, so the state that governs access at the barrier is the state the operator sees.
Built for the person doing it all day
The dashboard is shaped around the operator's actual routine rather than the underlying tables, which is what turns membership administration from a task into a lookup.
